Dr Megan Broughton

 

Dr Megan Broughton studied at the University of Pretoria and completed her years of internship and community service in Johannesburg. Following this, Megan followed her heart to Durban where she worked in Addington A&E for 2 years before joining private general practice.  Megan is passionate about treating the whole family in a calm, friendly environment and treating each patient in a holistic manner. Her special interests include palliative care, women’s health, children and geriatrics.  Megan looks forward to joining Umhlanga GP and meeting you and your family

Dr Darnae Santos

 

Hi I’m Dr Darnae Santos, born and raised in Durban and a mom of 2. I graduated from the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal and I have worked in a variety of settings. I served my internship at Prince Mshiyeni Hospital in KZN and completed my community service at Helen Joseph Hospital in Gauteng, following this I worked in private emergency units and general practices across KZN and the Western Cape. My diverse experience has equipped me to effectively handle and treat a wide array of medical conditions. I am passionate about woman and child health as well as helping my patients manage their acute and chronic conditions to be the best version of themselves.

Dr Maxine Francisco.

Hi, I’m Dr Maxine Francisco. I completed my MBChB at the University of Pretoria. I went on to complete my Internship at King Edward VIII Hospital in Durban, followed by my Community Service year at Helen Joseph Hospital in Johannesburg where I spent my time in general medicine and geriatrics. I then completed my botulinum toxin training in Stellenbosch. I am passionate about providing holistic, patient-centred care with a special focus on women’s health, geriatrics and aesthetics. I look forward to meeting you and supporting you on your journey to better health and wellness at Umhlanga GP.
